Step 4: Now browse and select the location where you wish to store and install the Telegram desktop app
Step 5: Finally, Press the Install button on the next popup window and hit Finish
Step 6: Telegram will launch automatically

Step 8: Now proceed to scan the QR code using the Telegram app on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can also use your phone number to log in via OTP

Step 1: Get the Telegram app for macOS by visiting the official website and tapping the “Get Telegram for macOS” button
Step 2: The app will begin downloading once you press “Allow” in the confirmation popup
Step 3: After the file is downloaded, open the Downloads folder and right-click on the Telegram’s .dmg file and select the Open With option
Step 4: Now tap on DiskImageMounter.
Step 5: A popup will appear where you need to drag the Telegram app to the Applications icon
Step 6: Once the process is done, go to the home screen and right-click on the Telegram icon. Select “Eject” from the menu that appears
Step 7: Find and locate Telegram among the installed applications and open it
Step 8: Press the Start Messaging button and proceed to scan the QR code using the Telegram app on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can also use your phone number to log in via OTP
