Anyone with 4 kids have a new JGC L??
I had my heart set on one before we found out about baby #4...I currently have a Ford Expedition so it would be a bit of a down size. But honestly, if I have to have the 3rd row up in my expedition, the space back there isn't that much different than the Jeep with its 3rd row up. I know it's probably not practical but I just can't stop thinking about getting one lol. I'll have one rear facing infant seat, 1 forward facing for a couple more years, 1- in a high back booster & one in a regular little booster seat for just a little longer probably. She could probably ride without one but I feel better with her using one.

Idk I wouldn’t downsize with 1 more child. The jeep only has 6 seats where as your expedition probably has 7 if you have captain seats. You will have zero trunk space, only able to fit a stroller in the back and that’s about it.. we just upgraded to the ford expedition max and the extra trunk space in the max is amazing. We also have bench seats in middle so with 3 kids we can fit 3 across the middle row and have the entire trunk space

@magy123gkl,
I do have captains chairs in my expedition but mine is not a max. I feel like I won't have any trunk space with my 3rd row up as it is & I will have to have it up at all times. The only thing is I can easily take my oldest's booster seat out easily if she isn't with me if I need to fold that one side down for space when I go grocery shopping or something like that. I have looked at getting another expedition (a max) but can't afford the 70k+ price tags for a new one & not having any luck with finding a used one that checks all my required boxes lol

we upgraded with our 4th to an excursion and its super worth it imo, i would not want anything smaller. We had a navigator (same frame and body as the expedition) until our 4th was about 6 months and it was a pain in the ass. But we had captain seats, it would have been easier with a bench, but not ideal. Now we have 3 full rows and a full cargo area which is if i were you id go expedition max for the extra cargo space. Well have 2 rear facing, a high back booster and then 2 with nothing inn October.

@nate_alexis,
this gives me some hope I can make it work lol. I went & looked at one yesterday that has everything I want but I wasn't really feeling the sales person so I made it a Quick Look & left. I think I am going to try to go back & see if they will let me just put my car seats into it so I can see what it would really be like.

We had a suburban recently totaled and had a rental for a bit of the Jeep wagoneer and LOVED IT. I think it would be the same size as what you have now vs a downgrade. We loved it so much we are thinking of getting one instead of another suburban or navigator like we were planning!

@danimccoy11,
yes they are nice & is another option I'm considering! Just don't like the price tag on them either. Would love to find a used '23 but I've had no luck yet. There are a lot of '22s on the market but I won't buy one...I've read too many issues with them.

@clnje4,
I hear yah. We are not happy having to buy another large SUV. We had Just made the final payment on our suburban ♀️ my Mercedes GLC just isn’t big enough to be the family car though. I’ve heard the same about the 22’s! Best of luck on your search and you find something you LOVE and that works
